2014 Season Starting

First off teams have been chosen and you should be hearing from your coach soon if you have not yet. Your coach will be emailing you, introducing themselves and letting you know when practices will start. Right now the fields are not looking good so I will be keeping watch to see when we will be able to start practices. I will let the coaches know as soon as the fields are ok to practice on.

I am currently working on the schedule. You may see some games on the calendar but until the start of games the schedule can and will change. What is out there is not the final schedule. I will continue to make updates until the start of the season.

Finally, we need more girls at all levels. Please encourage others to sign up. We have extended the March registration price to Sunday April 13th. We will also be having a registration table open at the field on Saturday the 12th. If you have not signed up and would like to please come to the field on the 12th between 9am and 12pm to sign up. If you know someone who has not signed up bring them down and get a coupon for a slushy at the concession stand once it is open, or have them put your name on the form when they send it in and we will keep a coupon at the stand for you.

See you all this year, I will be around all year so if you need anything please let me know!

IMPORTANT NEWS!

First there will be pitching/catching clinics put on by Randy Willard the 10u Director. These clinics will be for girls born in the years 2002-05 and go from 6:30pm to 8pm. The dates are on the calendar, but include February 6th and 20th and March 6th and 13th. Cost for the clinics will be $10/night or $30 for all four nights. The league will also have registration for spring ball set up at the gym those nights. Come in and sign up early for a discount on spring registration costs.

Also the calendar has been updated to include many important dates coming up. Dates and times should be good through the month of March. Practices will start in April. Coaches will be assigned days in which they will be allowed to practice and they are responsible to pass that information on to thier team. The spring schedule will start the last week of April. There will be a meeting at the end of March to work out the schedule with the other leagues. 10u and 12u divisions will be traveling to Dover and Barrington for about half thier games. We will also be having some 16u games at the field and we are excited about having the Somersworth/Dover Girls play at Malley again for a couple of games.

Finally, pass the word along about SBR. We would love to see more girls come out this year and join our league. We have now opened our league up to North Berwick and welcome girls from that area to our league. Sign up times are on the website calendar. If you want to mail the registration in then you can do that as well, address is at the bottom of this page. Remember there is a reduced price for all paid registrations before March 1st.

Thank you for your time!
